Excellent location in Andros Town, with fantastic views over the town and the sea. Spacious, clean, decent kitchenette, very comfortable bed. I really appreciated the two thick blankets provided as during one day of my September stay it got quite cold and very stormy. Fresh towels and sheets after just 2 nights of my 3-night stay! Good parking, easy access up a ca. 200 metre long, slightly steep, but sufficiently wide tarmac ramp that's actually not a problem to walk up (unless you are disabled).

On entering the room, I immediately noticed a very strong smell of cleaning fluid. This spoilt my first night as the overpowering smell stayed, even with the windows wide open all night. I eventually twigged that it came from the drainage system & covered all openings. Problem solved. Just use less of this stuff!

This family-run accommodation is in a beautiful location on a hill about 15 minutes' walk from Andros Town, close to the beach and local minimarkets, tavernas and restaurants. Hardworking Nikos is the best host - welcoming, friendly, good-humoured and helpful - and is onsite everyday. He picked us from from the bus station in Andros town on arrival and took us back there when we departed. Our spacious, spotless studio consisted of a very comfortable large bed, a large sofa, a dining area, a well-equipped kitchen and plenty of storage plus very good AC. The bathroom was compact but everything worked well and we had housekeeping daily. We had an enormous furnished private terrace with magnificent views across the sea, the town and the mountains. The grounds around the studios/apartment were very nicely landscaped and well-kept, as was the good-sized swimming pool which offered stunning views. Our rate was very good value for money. We had a very relaxing stay and were sorry to leave. Andros is beautiful. We hope to return and would not hesitate in staying at Vassiliki Studios again.

Note if you are on foot that Vassiliki Studios are accessed via a very steep drive. We are in our 60s with knees that are sometimes tricky and we had no problem managing it a couple of times a day so it wasn't an issue for us and it was worth it for the stunning views! Our host Nikos brought us to and from the bus station on arrival/departure so carrying luggage up and down wasn't a problem. But just something to keep in mind if you are travelling without a vehicle and have restricted mobility.

Fantastic view from our little balcony where we people watched and drank wine before dinner. Rooms cleaned daily by the lovely cleaning lady. Fluffy towels every day. Nicholas was so helpful with all our queries. Great view from the pool which was never crowded.

The view comes at a cost. Steep hill to apartments, but Choro is hilly everywhere so not unexpected. A few more big mugs and glasses and a chopping board in kitchen.

The pool was really clean , a great size, with a view to die for. Nikolas was really friendly and helpful.

At first I was concerned about walking up the hill to get to the property, but it was fine. But the town is not suitable for anyone who find steps hard.
