The Beach VANUATU

Location right in front of a beach, but far away from Port Vila.

Restaurant prices were a bit high.

Big beach area. Live music is good. Food quality good. Generally ok and will be back for a 3rd stay nextime and being a very regular visitor to Port Vila that will depend on further stays here after that..

Comparing it to 4 other similar priced places I have stayed in Port Vila. Having to pay for drinks at reception if you didn't want to directly bill your room, bit strange not having a till at a bar. Some of the prices for food and drink are high end. No umbrellas supplied to guests, had a couple of very wet days with no under cover walkways to resturant or bar.

Absolutely loved our stay. Everything was perfect in this resort. Our least expectation on this trip was food, but it turned out to be the best. The food was exceptional. The staff were friendly and helpful all the time with a smile. The breakfast was perfect as well. The cleaning staff did an excellent job in cleaning our room everyday. And the entertainment every night was good too.

Good vistas and in walking distance to a few other places to eat. The staff are exceptional.

Cockroaches in room almost every day, unable to borrow snorkelling equipment due to them not having any despite adversing. Some entertainment such as the “fire dancers” required guests pay additional fees, if not paid access to the bar and pool area was off limits. Double booking at massage caused a rescheduling, was then double charged for one massage despite it being their issues. When brought to attention of resort they requested we provide records despite that being their job. Beach is not suitable for swimming due to coral and depth, able to wade but ultimately not a swimming beach.
