The Mercer

We stayed for 18 nights and really appreciated this hotel. The rooms are large and spacious and it was great to have the kitchenette facilities.

We had read other reviews and understood there was a lack of crockery and some kitchen equipment so we were prepared for that and had to bring some extra with us. It would have been appreciated if there had been more pages, bowls and crockery to use.

Very well located for my purpose and very near to Sheung Wan metro station. Plenty of good food everywhere.

Not a big property and only 2 units per floor. Very private.

Good location as it is within a 5min walk to Sheung Wan MTR and the Ferry terminal to Macau. Plenty of food/convenience store around the place.

1) Hotel is dated and really need a refresh. Lift landing is very narrow and dimly lit. 2) Was given 5th floor and staff did not make any effort when I request for a higher floor. Replied with the standard "full occupancy" statement. I fully doubt that is the truth. 3) No slippers in the hotel room! and need to purchase them from front desk for $10. 4) Aircon caused precipitation on the floor and water forms when temperature is adjusted up.
