The Charming Lonno Lodge Watamu

The lodge is extremely beautiful, quiet and peaceful. The pictures really don’t do it enough justice. I spent 5 nights and had a very relaxing stay. Booked the room with a private terrace and woke up to a view of the ocean everyday and slept to the sound of waves The staff are friendly and very helpful. They had great recommendations for things to do and even helped organise transport for me for my movement within and outside Watamu

The breakfast menu was limited, with the same options served every day. A little more variety would have made the experience even better

Our stay has been just wonderful, from the lovely staff and our hosts to the cozy accommodation and great location. If you are looking for a little hidden gem to switch off and feel completely at home, the charming Lonno Lodge is definitely the place to be.

Honestly, the only thing we didn't like is that it's just a bit too far from home, meaning we can't pop over for a long weekend whenever we fancy! It's such a special place, and one we'd love to visit on a regular basis

We hadden echt een prachtige kamer met rooftop. Alles is brandschoon. De service in Lonno Lodge is van hoog niveau. Ontbijt helemaal goed (vooral de yoghurt is zalig). Drankjes prima verzorgd. Echt een topplek. Silvia en Aldo staan echt voor hun zaak en zijn enthousiaste mensen. De twee honden zijn leukerds en keurig opgevoed. We deden een excursie naar Hell’s Kitchen; heel indrukwekkend. Voor ons duidelijk hét adres in Watamu: Lonno Lodge. Tot de volgende keer!

Op deze accommodatie iets op te merken hebben, is eigenlijk onmogelijk. Omdat het een accommodatie met een gering aantal kamers is, is eten a la carte en op gevarieerde tijdstippen niet mogelijk. Doch dit stoorde ons niet. Watamu heeft een diversiteit aan leuke restaurants.
