Dovecliff Hall Hotel

The lobby, dining room, and staircase were all very memorable. You got the feeling you were transported back in time to a dignified country manor. Dinner was fantastic. We dined in the atrium/sun room and the atmosphere was perfect. The food was also excellent. Breakfast was equally as good. Overall, it was a surprisingly enjoyable stay. We didn't expect such a nice place when we booked it. The staff were all very well trained, pleasant, and attentive. Logan was an especially good waiter for us.

We at least "liked" everything. The was no music during breakfast, but other than that, it was all very good and the lack of music was a minor oversight. We walked the grounds after breakfast and look forward to what the property will look like when you finish the gardens and other outdoor features.

The staff at dinner and breakfast were excellent. Very attentive and welcoming.

Dovecliff staff were very helpful. The rooms were good but nothing fancy. We had a ground floor room as requested. It was fairly large and clean. Breakfast was excellent

Dovecliff is really off the beaten track. It was a fair drive to get to town. Not much happening in town.

Carpets and tiles heavily stained and discoloured. Staff member in the morning was working really hard but couldn’t keep up on her own. Ran out of glasses and had to be asked. Ran out of juices and never replaced. Coffee not available as machine broke down and no other options to make a coffee.
