Location is good for exploring Zamora which is a beautiful historical Spanish town. Very few tourists unlike Salamanca, so you get a really good feel for the town and locals. The Hostal is basic but good for a night or two and our room had air con which was nice. It also had a secure garage for parking the motorbike which was great. For the price you can’t really complain. No staff on site, but check in is straight forward enough with the instructions sent.

Convenient, side street location, and short walking distance to the old center. Self check-in and excellent communication with manager via WhatsApp and google translate. What we appreciated most was the information regarding particular events occurring during our stay.
The bathroom is small but completely functional. Air conditioner is strong! Ask for hairdryer if needed. Essentially, there was everything that 2 worn-out pilgrims could want.
I suppose the only negative would be the lack of a reading lamp on one side of the bed. A hot water kettle in the room would be nice too.
