Hotel right on a canal with beautiful views, spotlessly clean and quirky old furnishings that match perfectly with the hotel. Breakfast served in a courtyard garden which was beautifully done, a nice bit of greenery within Venice. The owner was very friendly and helpful and provided us with a detailed map of all the best places to go and visit and avoid the tourist traps. Really personal touch, thank you

No TV in the room, which had been advertised but it wasn’t a big issue as we were out most of the time. It certainly didn’t spoil our time there.

Breakfast was great! Excellent location - from the grand canal Ca D’Or stop on the Waterbus line 1 - just 3 minutes walk - only one bridge to cross making traveling with luggage relatively easy.

Nothing - everything was great.

We loved the atmosphere of Pontechiodo — especially the beautiful inner garden and the quiet, almost intimate atmosphere of breakfast. The staff were exceptionally kind, attentive and genuinely helpful, offering thoughtful recommendations for places to visit based on our particular interests rather than just the usual tourist suggestions. And a very special detail: the countertenor singing that occasionally drifted through the house in the mornings — never intrusive, just quietly present and wonderfully atmospheric. It made an already distinctive place feel even more special.

Nothing, really. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t change anything.
