Comfort Inn Sano Fujioka Inter

The hotel staff here always provide excellent customer service. The rooms are very affordable and I like the breakfast buffet a lot (plenty of options, plus you can make your own waffles). It's an old hotel, so it's not very fancy and it's a little beat up, but it's one of the least expensive hotels in the area and the beds are soft and the staff is very kind. I have stayed here several times when I need a place to spend the night in Sano.

It could use some beautification renovations to make it more appealing. Little things like old carpet, wallpaper, etc. would spruce it up quite a bit. And while the pillows were fine for me (there were at least two types - a buckwheat base with cotton or something on top and then a flat, regular cotton-stuffed pillow), my spouse didn't like either option. They were too hard/flat for his liking. This might be rough for side-sleepers so ask for extra pillows.
