Reception very friendly and helpful. Good location right by town plenty of places to walk & eat etc

Unfortunately balcony was not accessible during our stay - the hotel refunded $50 due to this but this was a real shame as even though it was chilly we would have liked to use the balcony. Otherwise facilities were fine and staff were very nice.

The location and charge were good, situated away from mainstream traffic.

Our expectation after booking was that we would be allocated with two rooms, both of which would be provided with two 'large double beds'. We got one queen bed in one room and two single beds in the other. After unsuccessfully arguing the point with the receptionist we were advised that this room and what came with it was totally booked by Booking.com and that the room that did meet our expectation was taken. Further, our room was on the first floor and only accessible via a steep set of exterior wooden stairs that are very dangerous and slippery. It was pouring rain which added to the difficulty experienced in not slipping when having to carry a large travel bag up and down it. The stairs came with a warning sign, free of charge.
