Pensión Moratin

Very central location in casco antiguo.

Although the room wasn’t too small, it had an odd shape and so I had to move the desk to be able to accommodate my (admittedly large) suitcase open. I prefer to do that because it saves having to unpack for a short stay.

Nice pension in the centre of Valencia. The location is probably the best thing about this place. It’s a very simple accommodation, but perfectly fine for a couple of nights.

The noise was the main downside. I could hear every door of the other rooms opening and closing, and as the pension is right in the city centre, there was also quite a lot of noise coming from downstairs. I also found the price a little high for what the accommodation offers.

bad lighting, bathroom wasnt cleaned that well, i did not appreciate the absence of kitchen

We absolutely loved everything about our stay! The location is absolutely top-notch—everything interesting in Valencia is literally a minute away, which saves you so much time. The room was super cozy, and having a fan was incredibly helpful. The staff was great and provided us with fresh towels every single day. It was our first time staying in a place with a shower inside the room but an external toilet. We don't know if that's standard for Spain, but we actually found it quite cool and interesting! If you don't mind the external toilet, this is a top place for the money in Valencia.

We don't have any complaints! Everything was great. The only thing to note (not a negative for us, but just a heads-up for future guests) is the external toilet. We didn't mind it at all, but it's good for others to know before booking.
