Quiet and well equipped little bungalow on a camping ground with access to the lake.
I had to pay extra for the bed linens and i also had to put them on and remove them when leaving. In addition i had to clean the bungalow

Loved the pool area, Environment well taken care of. The camping home was well stocked with basic amenities asides from having to pay for bed linen and towels.
It’s a small camp so there are only Few options for activities, the bar / restaurant was under stocked. Staff not customer friendly. Most importantly, on arrival at the station, we couldn’t get a taxi to the camp and they were not helpful in any way. We had to sort help from a nearby hotel, who treated us very well as their own guests.

Very well kept site. You can see the owners do take pride in the cleanliness of the site and communal facilities
We stayed in number 8. The facilities were ok but not a lot of room. Our biggest issue was ants. Loads of them on floor and worktops. The floor is also in need of some repair. Creaky, areas feel like they are going to fall through and I think that’s the crux of the ant issue, the way they are getting in

The location is good - within driving distance from the main attractions around Maggiore. It's not a bad place to stay for a night or two to explore the area, in a cost-friendly way. The "room" was ok, with space for your luggage, a decent bathroom and good air conditioning (important in the hot June weather). It felt safe around the area, even at night.
We had to pay extra for sheets and towels; the pool couldn't be used without a swimming cap. Not much to do on-site for adults, tbh. It's a good base if you plan to stay all day on the run. The experience might be very different if you have kids - they all seemed to enjoy it around us!
