Our apartment was spacious and atmospheric. It was handy for all the tourist attractions, lots of restaurants and half an hour’s walk to the station.
We had a kitchenette but no sink. It was a bit awkward to nip through to the communal area to fill up a kettle in your pyjamas.
I wasn’t really sure from our reservation on booking.com which apartment we were going to be in.

Premium location in traditional Tuscan apartment. Great communication, welcome with advice on areas of interest and quality restaurants from Marzia.
Vast room with large bed and en-suite / bath on mezzanine floor.
Due to size of windows, the net coverings did not completely block out the light (but this didn’t spoil the stay).
The apartment above us had hard floors and on one night we could hear noisy heels late at night / early morning.

Great location, receptionist (Marzia) was very lovely and helpful.
Facilities are a bit old fashioned but perfectly serviceable.

The location was superb.
The property wasn’t the one we had booked as when we arrived we were told there were renovations at our original booking.It would have been nice to be informed of this in advance of our arrival. The apartment we were given was in no way comparable to the pictures depicted on Booking.com.
We had to move again to another apt for the fourth night of a 4 night stay.This once again was a downgrade .
The pillows were cheap & lumpy in the first apt.
The electric towel rail didn’t work in the apt .
The microwave in the communal area was broken .
