We travelled with a group of colleagues for a university conference. Life & Leisure Boutique Guesthouse exceeded our expectations since we all got spatial bedrooms with a desk and kitchenette but it didn't end there. The guesthouse has a comfy living room to relax, with a bar and a fireplace which we really enjoyed after we arrived after a daylong trip around the peninsula. The next day we enjoyed a great breakfast at the large table and discovered we were able to work together at the big yellow table. At night the place transformed into a living room and we could enjoy the well stocked bar. The staff is adorable, they make a different kind of breakfast every day, They provided cookies, candy, water and genuinely took care of us. We felt at home and from the staff people to owner everyone genuinely cared for us! As a place to work, study and leisure as its name indicates!

Great location, easy walking to the centre but still very quiet. Felt very secure. Good communication prior to arrival. Room was very spacious and the outdoor space was lovely. The staff were very friendly. There was lots of thoughtful extras - port, chocolates, milk.

Nothing we didn’t like. If we were being very harsh the room felt slightly unfinished - tiles missing in the floor that had been filled with cement, the bathroom door needed adjusting as it caught on the floor. The fridge was plugged in to an extension socket and the cable trailed across the floor. This was explained by the staff as the fridge had recently broken and was due to be replaced
