A bit old and worn out. Not maintained very well.

Great location. Beds were good.
Cleaning wasn’t done in common areas. Body wash and hand soap was empty. Windows where discussing looked like they had never been cleaned.

The location was great, very close to all of the places we wanted to visit in the 2 days we were in Melbourne. I would stay here again.
Unfortunately I had request one of the 2 bedrooms to be setup with single beds and they were both setup with queen beds. As we were there on two nights my two 20+yo sons shared one of the queen beds. Fortunately I didn't pay the extra $30 at check-in for the setup of two single beds.

Excellent location and sizable room. I was lucky enough to have a large balcony for fresh air. Cheaper than most places nearby. Friendly staff and I got an SMS an hour before regular check-in time to let me know I was welcome to arrive early and a room would be ready, which was nice!
The room was disappointingly grotty. Smeared, dirty walls and mirrors, hair in the bed, dirty carpet, toothpaste-cup circles in the bathroom, unidentifiable liquids leaking out of the portable AC units - which, by the way, are units that are supposed to be attached to a hose to eject air outside, but the hoses had been ripped off and the air was just circulating back into the room. INSANELY loud renovations starting at 8 am. No face washers? All in all, it needs a BIG clean and a lot of TLC - hopefully the loud hammering is a sign of improvements to come!
