Raja Laut Dive Resort Bunaken

The meals were great. The people at the resort were kind and helpful. The location was great. The views of the ocean were beautiful. The house reef had incredible snorkeling, and the boat excursions were well organized and took us to great snorkeling spots.

The electricity went off from time-to-time, and the wifi wasn't always great, but I think this is just more a condition of being on a remote island than about the resort specifically.

sehr schöne Lage, direkt davor ein Hausriff zum Schnorcheln, ein Traum. viel Ruhe, man hört nur das Meer rauschen. Schöner Balkon mit Hängematte zum Verweilen. Lage super, 10 Minuten zu Fuss ins Dorf wo es ein paar Restaurants oder Warungs gibt. Das "Boots-Team" ist sehr sehr gut organisiert, aufmerksam und begleiten einem auf Schnorchel - und Tauchtouren, es herrscht dabei eine tolle Stimmung. Das Management ist präsent, aber sehr dezent, Infos muss man sich abholen.

das Essen (Vollpension) war eher bescheiden, v.a. am Morgen, mir meist zu wenig. die restlichen Mahlzeiten waren eher schwer und etwas eintönig. Die Menus im Dorf haben mich um einiges mehr überzeugt da viel frischer. Bungalows sind rusikal und einfach gehalten, Tücher wurden nicht gewechselt (da alles sehr feucht wäre das ein schöner Service), sanitäre Anlage eher alt. Man richtet sich nach den Tauchern, als Schnorchlerin muss man sich ihnen anschliessen, was per se kein Problem ist mir aber bei der Buchung so nicht klar war.

I was very lucky to get a room right beside the sea. I lit some mosquito coils at night and slept with the doors open. I could hear the sea all night and be woken by the sun in the morning.
