Absolutely gorgeous, charming accommodation - such a welcome change from generic, soulless hotels. Rooms were very spacious, the location was ace and Enrique, one of the two hermanos who runs the place, was an absolute legend.
And ignore the nonsense you read online - that neighbourhood is perfectly safe and lively at night, provided you have some basic urban common sense.

Location was fine. Mariscal, esp Plaza Foch can get noisy at night, but I was there Sunday and early in the week and it was not noisy at all. Rooms were huge and very nice.

Eduardo and Enrique were both incredibly friendly, helpful and kind. The location was good, lots of restaurants nearby and easy to get to the Centro Historico via Uber. Everything was good. I really enjoyed my stay in Quito and would recommend Casa Foch as an affordable, friendly place to stay.
Only complaint is the bedding which gave me many electric shocks. So I just slept on top of the cover

Eduardo and Enrique are excellent hosts. It really does feel like a home away from home. As a solo woman traveler, it is important to be in a safe environment. I immediately felt protected, and they were so responsive and attentive to my needs. The hotel was centrally located to so many attractions . The house itself is so beautiful with super clean rooms and bathrooms. Delicious healthy breakfast included and several great restaurants within walking distance. The hosts gave great tour ideas and suggestions and are very friendly and kind people.
The area is very popular on weekend nights, so if you are a light sleeper, you might need ear plugs to sleep..
