Hillhaven Holiday Apartments

The location was fantastic & ideal for taking in the whole view of the Gold Coast from ocean, beach, to local shops, restaurants, cafes & services, all the way out to the hinterland. The beds were so luxurious, the rooms were spacious, comfortable with awesome views of the sunrise & ocean from the bedroom & across the ocean up to Surfer's Paradise from the living room ... beautiful location, quintessential Gold Coast! Finally, the host Mel couldn't have been more accommodating ... she was responsive, helpful & we'll absolutely be recommending Hill Haven to visiting friends & family.

No curtains in the lounge room/bedroom with it open plan. The 5am wake up was not ideal

We didn’t know that there was no door (open plan style) for the main bedroom. (The second room had a door) so advertised as a 2 bedroom we didn’t realise this at all. There also was only one blind across the balcony window that covered where the bed was but nothing on the other side where the lounge was so we had to get up with the sun, that was not ideal for us. The place could do with a really good clean and update. A lot of parts looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in a very long time. There were two gigantic (and one dead one so 3) cockroaches that I had to kill which was surprising and caused a panic attack for me and my son. The car space was tiny. The kitchen light didn’t work. Vacuum didn’t work
