Very comfortable with a 2 seater couch, 2 or more English language TV stations, we could use our Visa card (some major hotels didn't accept it), effective air con, quality bedding & towels, a warm biscuit on arrival, easy check out at 4am & help with getting a Didi ride. The staff had reasonable English skills. A luxury stay for us. Reasonably close to the metro (800 metres) for getting around on Shanghai's excellent & easy to use subway.
It can take a while for lifts to come because they travel through 45 storeys.

The hotel is conveniently located, and all the necessary amenities were available upon request. The breakfast was also very good, with a wide variety of options.
The air conditioning was extremely difficult to regulate. It cooled the room very slowly at first, but during the night, the room became unbearably cold. At the same time, the blanket provided was far too heavy, causing me to sweat while sleeping. Whenever I got out of bed in the morning, the sudden temperature difference made me shiver badly. I eventually developed a fever, which unfortunately spoiled a significant part of my trip.
