A very friendly welcome, the hotel was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. Food, drink and service in the pub in the evening and at breakfast was very good.

We stayed in the accessible room on the ground floor so we had the noise of people letting the front door slam as they came and went to contend with, that was the fault of the other guests than the hotel itself. The door hinges in the toilet need oiling, they were very noisy and so using the bathroom quietly in the night was not an option as the door roars loudly when opening and closing.

Comfortable bed, spotless room, staff very helpful and friendly. Food was very good. Great experience

Shower water pressure was a bit low, but still adequate

Unfortunately, our booking was cancelled on the day due to a "security issue". Caused a lot of problems trying to find somewhere locally that accepts dogs.

I would be reluctant to book here due to being kept down at the last minute.
