The Waterfront

We stayed in room A which was very spacious with a large bathroom with bath and separate shower cubicle. Large and very comfortable bed and bedding. Plenty of storage and everything was clean and fresh. The breakfast was very good with a wide range of options available from the menu. Great to have table service. We also had an enjoyable meal in the restaurant one evening. Very central in Anstruther, right on the waterfront - as the name suggests! The paid car park across the road cost £1.70 for 3 hours, free after 6 and if you pay again after 6pm you can leave it till up to 11am next day.

This was the first place that came with a sky box built in, the first time I'd had high resolution TV in Scotland accommodation. The views from room D were stunning of the harbour, and its next to all the places to eat so everything's in walking distance.

The only real thing we didn't like was the best room (had the most water facing windows), being next to the road meant you could hear traffic at night, so if you're a light sleeper, it might be a trickier sleep.

Great breakfast choices, nicely cooked

Parking was difficult as designated place to park.

Great location, spacious room, comfortable bed! Breakfast was amazing 😁

A bit difficult lugging our suitcases up two flights of stairs.
