Excellent location, right at Westlake pier 5 where you can take the cruises.

Jam to get to the property. Because it is location at the most busy part of west lake and everything is right at the door steps but unfortunately this also means that it is filled with tourists and there is only 1 road to lead to the hotel n very congested. the jam to go back to hotel is about 15 min even though we are only a very distance from the hotel entrance.

Amazing location, close to everything, and DiDi drivers can easily find the hotel. For me, this was one of the best locations ever — right in front of the lake and within walking distance of shopping malls, restaurants, and many attractions. The room view to the lake 👌🏻👍🏻

Nothing, really. The only suggestion would be to extend the breakfast hours until 10:30 AM.

the cafe downstairs put us in a corner table saying the center table upfront was booked for a reservation. The cafe was almost completely empty, so frankly, it felt racially motivated. later on, they did take good care of us though, but my initial annoyance stays.

Location

It’s July 2026, summer temperatures around West Lake can reach 35 degrees celcius or more. We paid higher price for a lake view at 7th floor. The room aircon there is only possible till 25 degrees celcius and unable to go lower. Imagine we thought we could escape and rest in the room from summer heat but ended up it was stuffy and warm - that affected our sleep at night too even without the blankets, it was stuffy. So we had to go sit in lobby which was much cooler. The hotel technician said this temperature is like this probably due to the heat as we kept our window blinds opened, he suggested to keep it shut to reduce the heat in room - that means the room is in darkness. Afterwards we shifted to another hotel property and we were able to enjoy the nice cooling hotel room and take naps in the hot afternoons.
