Location was perfect and the host was lovely and welcoming. Although the room and kitchen were small, it was absolutely perfect for our needs. We had brought precooked meals and we went out for dinner. Shower water was hot and the pressure was good.
The size could be an issue for 'fussy' people, but it was absolutely perfect for us. We had wanted two single beds.

The venue does not provide meals. Numerous restaurants were within 10mins drive and shopping malls can be reached within minutes. The venue was in a quiet position and in a good suburb. The single beds had comfortable mattresses although we missed having a top sheet under the duvet. We felt at peace with the security gates and lighting. No animals were present, which was super as I have allergies with animal dander.
The walls are thin and sleep was interrupted by general noise created by occupants residing on the other side of walls. Our host kindly accepted some suggestions to improve sound-proofing. Our room looked tired with peeling paint and some floorboards need attention by a carpenter. The costs for this shouldn't cost much and would be well worth the expense, however, obtaining 3 quotes from reputable repairmen would be wise.
This was the first time we've had to pay the full cost upfront which almost caused us to cancel.
