Sunshine Hoian Hotel

The breakfast menu was nice.

Laundry service did not give a recipe and confused the price. After the stay they continuously called us and pressured to pay 200k VND extra, asking my wife to pay with zalopay because the person who's laundry got mixed up only had credit card.

The hotel is very clean the rooms are fabulous it has a great breakfast the location is great but most of all the staff are all first class

I love the staff here - particularly Phuong and Chung - they were the receptionists here when I visited seven years ago. I feel so so sorry for them. They are excellent women and great workers. Due to Covid 19 and lockdown, this hotel must have suffered financially. Whereas in the past there were up to three ladies on the reception desk, a guy making omelettes/eggs in the restaurant area now there are just the two ladies on different shifts who seem to do practically EVERYTHING. In the past you could order some food here. Not now. The breakfasts were absolutely pathetic. I thought one day I would cook my own egg as there was nobody around at all. This hotel absolutely MUST lower its costs or do a better job with the breakfasts as I paid a further £10 per night and left a bit earlier and stayed in the most outstanding 5* hotel. I would love to come back to Sunshine. I love these ladies. It was my third time at this hotel in Hoi An but it is not the hotel as I knew it. So desperately sad. I am glad that it has survived however. It's location is absolutely perfect and the staff are just wonderful.

Breakfast was embarassingly bad for Vietnam. Food left out overnight. Banana smoothie out for 3 days without refrigeration etc. etc.
