First, I loved the town. Kinosaki Onsen is a really charming place full of wonderful people and wonderful food. Second the Onsen hopping concept was so cool, you get your pass and can go to the seven official onsens. Thirdly, this accommodation was so charming. The decoration is so 70s, truly beautiful, our room was great and spacious, the futon was so comfortable, the breakfast was generous and delicious. The staff was impeccable, very kind, helpful and attentive, the owner even acted as our personal photographer. They even helped me with wearing the yukata correctly. I'd definitely come back!

It was perfect

We spent three nights at Kinosaki Onsen and we are so glad we chose to stay at Morizuya! The staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful. The room was beautiful. The breakfast was delicious, we especially loved the offerings on our second morning. Having use of the private onsen in the evenings was so relaxing. We look forward to coming back one day.

The private indoor bath that you can reserve if you're traveling with a companion. The complimentary pass to use at the public onsens. Location was convenient and walking distance from the station. The wonderful staff. And the owner was super accommodating and friendly. He took great pictures for us and gave us a ride to the station on our departure day. The kaiseki dinner and breakfast was awesome and well planned. It was great to see family-owned business value people and their experience versus profit.

The lighting could be more brighter. Not having enough time to explore more of the town.

The people working here went above and beyond. The owner was very excited to welcome me. He took pictures of me in front of the ryokan after checking in and when I was wearing my yukata for the first time. At the end of my stay he offered to bring my suitcase to the trainstation by car and took pictures of me in front of the trainstation. This was all suggested by him. After checking in I could chose a yukata and there was someone helping me put it on for the first time. The kitchen was able to prepare multiple meals keeping my diatery restrictions (no seafood) in mind. I had asked about this beforehand but never received a replay making me worry it wasn't possible, but I shouldn't have been afraid. The room itself was nice and spacious. And the onsen in the ryokan itself was also really nice. I definitely recommend this ryokan to everyone!
