The Astor Hotel Motel

very clean, good bed good linen and towels - modern design - bright and airy - no bad smell inside good shower with soft towels and infra-red warm light.... best shower in a motel EVER... air con OK curtains OK .... all room furnishing OK fridge did not make a noise and was cold and very clean nothing to fault in cleaning bin taken out after one day and a new towel brought in ... good value for money central to the main street no cigarettes butt anywhere or rubbish ALDI next door

THE WIFI was horrible.... would constantly cut off basic TV channels nothing fancy THE NOISE OF THE PUB till midnight on the saturday, the people shouting outside, slamming doors the garbage truck on two mornings would probably be better in the week Parking was full and I am old .... sigh... parked on ALDI which was allowed and safe no clear door indication where reception is.... had to walk around no reception staff when I left... only the cleaner who told me where to put the card I asked for a room downstairs and it was accepted in email ... when i got there it was Upstairs... sigh...

Very clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. It is in a handy spot to grab a beer or a feed and has a great menu and good beers. Everyone works hard for the patrons and the cleaning staff are great and do a fantastic job.

The hot water ran out but that was because they were fully booked. It wasn't that much of a big deal though. The manager calmed that moment down with a pretty good excuse. He was really good about it actually. I just waited for a bit and it came good.

Lovely venue, great staff very clean
