Meridian Hotel Bolyarski

Excellent hotel, very friendly staff

Nothing

The hotel and staff were great. Location is excellent. Bed comfy.

The pillows were really not comfortable. The drone of the air conditioning was very noisy.

The hotel is perfectly located right in the middle of town, with a super convenient location and a delicious breakfast. I was very lucky to have Room 604, which had a lovely balcony with a beautiful view of the monument at night — the perfect spot to sit and sketch in my sketchbook. I also absolutely enjoyed the gym and swimming pool after a long hike each day. The air conditioning in the room was perfect, and the cleaning lady was incredibly kind and always made sure my towels were sorted daily.

It would be even better if the rooms came with a kettle, tea and coffee. Also if the fridge worked consistently. As I stayed for 10 nights, I sometimes preferred to keep food and drinks in the room rather than eat out every day, so having a reliable fridge would have made the stay much more convenient.

The view

The smell of the room - it smelled like somebody smoked there before
