The accommodation is in an old freehouse and was able to keep that atmosphere. The staff was friendly and supportive and the bed was nice. The location next to the Selby Abbey in the middle of the centre is great.
The hotel is (very) old and could use an update. At the one hand it is the charm, on the other hand it all looks sllghtly worn down. Unfortunatly they don't serve breakfast (but there are some other places to have breakfast around).

Local to where we needed to be had a car park that you could park in for free
Room is really basic really needs a refresh even though it’s just been advertised as done but whether that’s the pub and not the hotel really dusty every where
