Settlers Motor Inn

Great value country comfort. Located at one end of the main strip, it still wasn’t that far to reach the tavern at the other end of town, so you can walk home if you’ve had a drink. The facilities aren’t that of a five star hotel but they were clean and comfortable and that’s what we needed. Do yourself a favour, walk into town and get a bacon and egg roll at the coffee shop opposite the council offices. Yum!! Don’t forget to visit the Tenterfield Saddler and if you can, Queen Mary Falls is lovely. There is both a Bowls Club and a tavern for meals and we also listened to some good music at the tavern. For a bit of history, visit the Sir Henry Parkes Display in town too. The markets are worth a look if they’re on too.

Parking. Very hard to perk with over sized 4wd parking me in and poles had to climb through the passenger seat to get out.

This motel was hardly to town, clean & tidy with comfortable beds. It was very reasonably priced. If you have time for visit the railway museum up the road it was well worth perusing.

Our room was closest to highway so lots of road noise, bed gave me a sore back, so result was a bad nights sleep
