Absolutely everything. My room had a great view to the garden and the Koi fish were swimming around. Staff was excellent, specially Mito-chan.
Onsan was beautiful.

Friendliness of staff and the garden was unmatched. The hotel was a bit old but we did not mind since we felt like we were stepping into the true history of Japan. For anyone who is looking to truly unwind for a few days we highly recommend!
It would suit this hotel a bit better if they have some fragrances scattered across the hotel since it would add another layer of complexity and make the stay even more enjoyable. The breakfasts weren't our thing, but we respect that they were authentically Japanese.
