Very well located, nice and helpful staff. Breakfast can be made vegan on request. Kudos to the chef Angela for being so friendly and caring. She even explained to me how to make frijoles pintos and frijoles charros :)

WiFi didn’t work at all or well most days, toilets and showers outdoor nice but during mosquito season isn’t ideal, my 4 person dorm was very small and didn’t have windows and could hear everything outside

One of my favorite stays in Mexico so far! Hostel La Candelaria is a beautiful, welcoming place in a great location, close to everything and also within easy reach of the ADO bus station, which was so convenient. The owner and the whole staff are absolutely lovely : warm, friendly, happy and genuinely interested in helping you. You can really feel that they want you to have a wonderful experience and make the most of your time in Valladolid. And the breakfast… INCREDIBLE! 😍 Honestly, one of the highlights of my stay. I felt very comfortable and welcomed from the moment I arrived. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to stay longer and come back. I will definitely come back to Hostel La Candelaria next time I’m in Valladolid! Highly recommended.
