Avalon Motel Thames - Wenzel Motels

It was a very nice clean comfortable place to stay

Nice big room, spacious, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The bathroom was well equipped, the robes were a lovely touch, and the beds were so comfortable they pretty much guaranteed a snore zzzz fest!!! Our room opened out to the swimming pool, and the spa on a cold night was primo! 🥶♨️ Nothing like sitting in a hot spa while the temperature drops outside...very hard to leave once you’re in! The gardens were beautifully looked after and the whole place had such a fresh, relaxed feel. AMAZING. The receptionist was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. A great first impression. Definitely my choice in Thames over a city hotel. You get the outdoor facilities, lovely gardens and fresh air without feeling like you're stuck in the concrete jungle of a big city hotel. 🌿 We would definitely come back and stay again. Highly recommend to other travellers 😂

Wish list, a toaster for brekkie & milk. Dinner plate had residual food tomato stains on it from previous use.

Close to the hospital

I liked the property

Quiet, spacious.

Single beds were too soft, electric blankets were provided but nowhere to plug them in , no spare blankets.
