Location was good. Room was compact.
We would have liked luggage storage facilities but the manager referred us to the Meininger Hotel up the street. Not a good idea. I've only stayed in a Meininger Hotel once and thought it was excellent value

This hotel has surpassed my expectations. First and foremost, the location is wonderful, 15 minutes walking distance from the Old Port, where everything essential about Marseille is, and 20 minutes walking from the Saint-Charles station, where connects Marseille with everywhere. Secondly, from the reception, the facilities, to the breakfast every morning, everything together had made our Marseille trip extra special and definitely worth the time.
If I had to be picky, the room was centrally air-conditioned a little bit too warm and I had to open the window to let the cold air in, yet somehow one mosquito seized the opportunity to join the night.

Location. It's quite easy to get to the hotel by metro from St. Charles train station.
The four of us booked two twin-bed rooms for 3 nights. There was no kettle, no drinking water provided in the room. When we need hot water, we need to go down to the reception ask the staff to wind up the folding gate to get it from the machine. (The bar was closed after breakfast). The staff was not pleased when we asked for it.
