Glazert Country House Hotel

The location and staff were outstanding

Amazing restaurant, very cosy, lovely accomidating staff, beautiful walks, homely feel, original features

Not as soundproof as purpose built hotels

Staff were very welcoming, attentive and made an effort to ensure we were looked after. Bar area was nice, food was good as was the room. Good value for B & B. Would happily return.

Nothing really. If I was being picky I’d say the water pressure was fantastic, it was more than adequate enough though.

Staff were great. Breakfast was very good

Room : Door to get in and out of the room extremely stiff and difficult to use. Sliding door to the bathroom would not close which was unpleasant to say the least. The part of the slide that did work was very noisy which is not great if you have to get up in the night. The bed was also very noisy - loads of creaks and bumps. It was comfortable apart from that! Although we were provided with a clean shower mat, there was an old one in the shower itself when we got in the room. Made us wonder if the shower had been cleaned.
