Close to the Vatican. Lots of food options around. Close to a metro station.
Our room was positioned right on the corner of a busy intersection. If it's your first time in Rome, you should know that honking is very common here.
Also, on the morning of our second day, the host texted us saying he needed my ID to complete the check-in. It wasn't a huge problem because I was expecting it, but it would have been nice to know upon arrival when we would meet.

The location near the Vatican site is really great. Very close to the Metro station Ottaviano, you can join quickly all corners of the town. Great choice of restaurants, bars and shops around the property. The owner is available via What's-Up and ready to solve problems as soon as they appears. The cleaning was quite accurate and the Wi-fi fonctions well.
The bed mattresses are of very poor quality. The hot water supply and debit are very instable and you can find yourself in the shower with nasty suprises at any time of the day. The evacuation of the water from the shower plate was blocked, a sign that the maintenance of the pipes is not accurate. Finally we recommend reserving a quite room on the internal side because the ones on the street are very noisy even at night. The owner should invest more in bedding and water heating.
