The room was nice, clean and overall great value.
We were in room 1 which was just off the balcony that overlooked the main thoroughfare down to Manarola. There were constant throngs of tourists right outside our window from 9am-9pm every day which was quite noisy. Also the front door to the hotel doesn’t lock automatically when shut so a few times we came back and other guests had not locked up after them, which puts a little bit of concern on safety of belongings in room.

It is a small town so everything is close. Lovely people but it is a tourist attraction so crowded in the daytime.
The street noise before dawn (it's the only way to the harbor so all deliveries, trash pickup and conversations between workers is amplified) the train tunnel is almost beneath the structure so we heard every train, express, freight, passenger as it arrived and departed. Quite the amplifier.
