Brutsches Rebstock

Von der Hotel-Terrasse und aus dem Restaurant hat man tolle Aussicht auf den Rhein und auf Laufenburg auf der gegenüberliegenden Schweizer Seite. In einem kurzen Spaziergang durch die malerische Gasse runter an den Rhein und über die Kopfsteinpflaster-Brücke gelangt man auf die Schweizer Seite. Die Gaststube im Restaurant ist mit viel Holz und warmem Licht gestaltet, das gefällt mir.

Es war ziemlich kühl im Zimmer, die Heizkörper blieben kalt auch nachdem ich die Thermostaten von Frostschutz-Stellung auf Stufe 4 von 5 geöffnet hatte. Die Bettdecke war gut, sodass ich zum Schlafen trotzdem schön warm hatte.

Frühstück war reichhaltig mit frischem Obst, mehreren Brotsorten, Müsli in gemütlicher Atmosphäre und tollem Ausblick auf den Rhein.

Beim nächsten Besuch bevorzuge ich ein Zimmer mit Ausblick auf den Rhein.

Nichts

Breakfast was pleasantly satisfying, especially by German standards. The staff were exceptionally friendly, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout our stay. Our room was clean, cozy, and well-maintained. A particularly thoughtful touch was the owner personally greeting guests during breakfast, a gesture that added a genuine sense of hospitality and care.

We had booked a river view room, but upon arrival, we were given one facing the courtyard instead. While the lack of a river view was not disappointing, the real issue was the noise from the street. With no air conditioning in the room, we had to keep the window open throughout the night for ventilation — which unfortunately made it nearly impossible to sleep due to the constant noise. I reached out to the hotel on the day of our arrival, but received no response. After a long journey, a sleepless night can truly take a toll, and this significantly affected the comfort of our stay.
