Lovely situation on the Main Street. Parking was free on the street but this may be because we were out of season. The room was very well furnished and clean. Tea coffee and a Tunnocks caramel wafer provided. We thought we had booked breakfast as had ticked a box on our Booking.com search for ‘breakfast included’ however apparently it was not. We ate breakfast at Brambles cafe across the road and thoroughly enjoyed it.

We stayed in room 6, which was a large, spacious room overlooking the Main Street with a nice bathroom with a huge shower. It was tastefully furnished with Victorian style furniture and spotlessly clean. The location couldn’t be better, being on the Main Street.

Staff were brisk and efficient rather than friendly. We booked room only and think that breakfast in the cafe a little on the expensive side, given that there were much better value places a stones throw away. Can’t comment on food quality as we didn’t eat there, but it certainly look ok.

I stayed at the garden suit and it exceeded my expectations, very big two rooms suit, with the master bedroom being huge, it was very clean, quiet and tranquil. I only regret not having more time to enjoy this nice suit.

I already knew it, but it does not have parking lot, although i was lucky and had a parking spot right in front of the hotel.
