The building its self was modern and spacious. We had a Queen suite which was small but the bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was powerful. Location really good for Claisebrook station, ( a 10 min walk) so direct line to airport. Being able to drop our bags and check in early was a bonus for which we were grateful.
Check in was a little strange. Our room was up two long flights of stairs and there isn’t a lift, carrying heavy bags wasn’t easy. The room was small. There were things missing such as any glasses for water , one tea bag between 2 of us, no hooks in the bathroom to hang anything, although there is a bar on the shower door for a towel. It was noisy, from both other guests and outside noise. There was nothing immediately close by for food apart from a garage.

Ganesha Hotel was very comfortable and I was very grateful that they let me check in early. It was the AFL Grand Final day, and because I was able to check in early, a close friend was able to pick me up and take me to his family home so I could see the pre game entertainment (Kylie yea!!) and watch the full match. This was a memorable part of being in Perth when Freemantle was in the grand final. Was close to where I wanted to catch up with family. East Perth is a great part of the city to be based with bus and train transport.
I was well aware that there was no lift and I was booked in on the second floor. The stairs are carpeted and as safe as can be. It would be great if a lift could be installed.

There was a very Noise tenant in the next room through yhe night , room wasnt as clean as previous times before
