Breakfast fabulous, very choosy about breakfast, cant get a better location or view

Grand historic building in fantastic location. Clean renovated room, comfortable with sea view. Hot shower, great breakfast. Attentive staff.

The view was incredible, the bed was very comfortable, the room was very spacious and clean. We didn't have any food on our visit so can't comment on that, but the bar was great. What a lovely view looking out over the pier while you have a pint, wonderful! The staff were so friendly and chatty. We enjoyed a game of bingo in the evening and some live entertainment which we weren't expecting. All in all, we wouldn't hesitate to come back here!

Lovely old building with character, exceptionally friendly staff on reception and in dining room, fair price for a single room and breakfast was nice (when it eventually arrived)

Breakfast service was poor: 8-9am is too early & restrictive for a Sunday (I’m on holiday not going to work), no explanation of how breakfast work so I sat at the wrong table, took ages to place an order (despite plenty of staff), food took a long time to arrive, order was incorrect and I wasn’t given a cup for tea, and loads of uncleared dirty tables made it an unpleasant experience. Room was fine, comfortable if quite dated. Worth getting a sea view although windows could do with a clean. Asked for a bath and none available so had to have a shower, which was disappointing.
