B&B-FORESTERIA Casa Della Musica Lake Como

We stayed in the top-floor penthouse at Casa della Musica, and it was magical. The view of the lake from the terrace is simply stunning, and you can feel the music in every corner: the late Massimo was a musician, and downstairs there is a piano and sculptures of musical instruments. It's a place with real character and atmosphere. But what truly made our stay special was Fabio. He explained everything when we arrived, helped before we even asked, and greeted us every morning with a smile that started the day right. He added his own tips for exploring the lake, and he went above and beyond: we celebrated two birthdays during our stay, and Fabio remembered and surprised us. It's rare to see this kind of dedication and warmth. The breakfast was wonderful and truly well thought out. Fabio asked what we would like to eat and tailored it to us, there is a great selection, and everything was delicious. The room has everything you need, and you can tell every detail was thought through: a very comfortable bed, a lovely shower, a quality work desk, and a cozy living room that's perfect for relaxing in the evening after a long day of sightseeing. The location is easy too: the train station is right behind the property, just a 2–3 minute walk. A perfect stay for me and my wife. We'll definitely be back!

We stayed in the Mozart room (top floor). Boardwalk 2 minutes away with a bar and restaurant nearby. Breakfast was amazing. Assortment of meats , cheeses, different breads with croissants, eggs, fresh fruit , fresh juice and coffee every morning. Fabio is amazing and so friendly. We are from the states and actually forgot our electrical converter for our phone chargers and he was so nice to let us borrow one other guests left behind, that really was not expected but appreciated. It was an amazing stay.

The location was a bit far away from where we needed to go. Taxi service is available around 50$ each way to Varenna /Bellano that needed to arranged ahead of time. There were times the train would would not stop at Ocio (our train location) or be delayed which dampened our plans especially at night and the roads are very narrow to walk. This has nothing to do with the B&B we still enjoyed our time.

Przemiły Pan Fabio, bardzo życzliwy i pomocny. Troskliwy. Pokoje bardzo czyste. Może wystrój jest mocno nie na czasie tak jest bardzo czysto. Klimatyzacja działająca. Łazienka z oknem. Widok przepiękny!

Dość stare kapy na łóżko.

EVERYTHING. The Hosts, the views, the place - too good to put into words ❤️ There is not one thing to complain or find fault about. We were welcomed enthusiastically even though we arrived late in the evening. Everyday we were welcomed with a smile and delicious home made breakfast. Hosts Massimo and Fabio are wonderful. We enjoyed the daily conversations and the little things they remembered about us. They went out of their way to make our stay a memorable one. We will definitely be back, Massimo and Fabio, Thank You ❤️
