Advance notice for hot water issues

The shared kitchen with the dining area was lovely, it was a really pleasant cosy space. It had shared foodstuffs cupboards too for anyone to grab which saved me when I needed some spices and coffee! I also appreciated the bathroom/shower block - each of the shower cubicles was a separate room with a lockable door, complete with a toilet and a sink, with more sinks outside of the lockable units in the main bathroom area. The luggage storage room in the main building (I was accommodated in the other building across the road) was really useful, too - I could explore the nearby park without lugging my bag around with me before leaving the area a few hours after I already checked out! Being able to check in quite late (I arrived around midnight and I was told that'd be fine as there's staff on site at all times) was greatly appreciated too. And the location - it's very close to a wonderful big park that feels like a forest in the middle of the city, housing a host of cafes, countless walking and cycling paths, fenced off areas housing a host of animals (including seals!), a petting zoo, a lovely playground, and a natural history museum! The hostel is easy to get to by train from the train station, too.

It'd be great if there was a bit more information on how the electricity works in the hostel (the card in the rooms, the button in the kitchen) as I only learned that from the other guests, but that's it; I don't really have any actual complaints!

Sauna was nice, and all the facilities were clean, good location too

No events going on, quiet hostel

The price! Nice enough location.

Room carpet looked a bit threadbare, dirty and torn in one place
