The photos really don't do this place justice at all. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The guy that greeted me at the reception was friendly and informative. What truly exceeded my expectations was the breakfast! The scones were hot and delicious, there was good coffee and a good selection of fruits. Would definitely stay here again.

Would be great to have a mirror outside the bathroom so us ladies can do our things whilst our partner is in the bathroom.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, a good heater and electric blankets were available for a cooler night. Good welcoming service. The breakfast provided was good with a few freshly cooked muffins also provided. The location is great, out of the town and you feel like you are having a more genuine West Coast experience. Very close to a great walk to the lighthouse, great views and native bush, and a bit longer to the seal colony and Tauranga Bay. New owners are lovely and doing a great job of updating the motel, we had a good experience.

Warm, cosy and comfortable. It’s in a quiet part of the country close to beautiful scenery and almost beside the pub. Continental style breakfast in the dining room had heaps of choice, even GF options. Great hosts.
