Consolata Hotel

It was very close to the Basilica and had a beautiful garden . The breakfast was very good. The staff were extremely helpful and the ambiance was great.

It would have been better if we had a kettle and cups

air conditioning excellent. location - 5 minute walk to restaurants and the sanctuary complimentary breakfast was extensive and good Front desk was excellent, informing me of activities. Parking included.

Room was clean and tidy. Plenty of parking spaces with easy access to the main attractions of the village.

We spent two nights at the hotel and on the second night we arrived to the hotel (around 11:30pm) after a long day at a friend’s wedding. I asked if I could have a tea as I was feeling sick and with terrible heartburn (14 weeks pregnant at the time) and the staff at the reception told me that they couldn’t provide a tea for me as the machines were switched off by then. I believe a cup of boiling water should be a basic easy thing to get at a 4 star hotel but it wasn’t.. the rooms didn’t have a kettle, water or anything that I could use. With the amount of tourists and pilgrims the hotel hosts I was expecting slightly better commodities including access to a simple tea.
