Hotel Villa Saxe Eiffel

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel was comfortable and welcoming, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent with a great variety. The location was great . We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

The Junior Suite is exquisite. The balconies and view of the Eiffel Tower are truly unreal. The room itself is great all around, and that extends to the building. Overall, a great room for a bit of an extravagant stay

After arriving at 11PM, we turned on the TV. We realized we couldn’t turn the volume down, change the channel, or even turn the TV off. Because it was a fancy TV that’s supposed to descend into it’s table (which it was never able to do our entire stay), there was no way to unplug the TV. It was genuinely stuck on. We were not stuck with a room that we could not sleep in. I called reception to try to resolve it. Saying the response lacked urgency would be an understatement. It took the older gentleman from the front desk (apparently the only person working) an hour to go up and down, try new remotes and batteries, and eventually get me an screwdriver so I could take the TV stand apart myself to resolve it. I understand that technical issues happen, but in a situation where our room was uninhabitable due to their bad technology, I would have appreciated a little more concern for our situation from the staff, especially at their prices. I did reach out to management, and their solution was to offer a bottle of champagne, which I found amicable. However, after three days of not hearing about the bottle, they told me they simply refunded the bottle I had requested for arrival. I know it’s the same thing pricewise, in the end, but it did feel like a bit of a twisting of our agreement.

Comfortable bed.

There was shampoo and soap in the shower, but no conditioner. Also, the floor of the tub was very slippery.

Extra facilities like gym, massage chair

The rooms are small. The reason I booked was for bathtub and a balcony. I asked for a balcony but there was no tub. The heating was too hot. We perspired every night.
