Great location, easy check-in. Excellent water pressure in the shower. Both shower gel and hand soap were labeled vegan. I like that the room had a sink and the table side lamp had a built in USB-C charger. Very quiet area. Good coffee and tea provided.
One bathroom for 5 rooms can be difficult. Could’ve been a problem with my phone but I couldn’t get service nor would the WiFi work anywhere in the house for me. Walls are rather thin.

The location was perfect right in the middle of all the restaurants, shops & action. It was really clean
Sharing a 2 bedroom apartment with someone else. Its not a guesthouse as such, but a 2 bedroom apartment with a small kitchen & 1 bathroom. We had the lower ground apartment. Music from the local pub started up around 10pm & the rubbish bins in the mornings was really loud.

Great location, staff (Olga) was helpful in communicating. Bed was comfortable.
This is a very no frills place to crash. There is NO staff at the property. If you’re ok with that and you’re looking for something slightly better than a hostel, this is for you. If you want/need someone to check you in, help plan your activities in Reykjavík, arrange taxis, etc go with a proper hotel instead. Also, the water smells like sulphur/slightly rotten eggs. Maybe this is a Reykjavík thing, but a nice long shower after a transatlantic flight isn’t happening here.
