Castle Hotel

So close to town and the beach, perfect.

Nothing.

The building was beautiful, the bedrooms renovated to a high standard, very comfortable and plush. The pub downstairs was charming, friendly staff and great atmosphere

The location

On arrival the staff member was very helpful. My husband and I had a comfortable clean room, with a very small compact bathroom, but good for what we needed. Bed very comfortable. My father’s room was upgraded before arrival and it met his needs. He had a bigger room and bathroom. Nice touch of having bathrobes and lovely white towels. Tea and coffee facilities were great and plenty of choice, which was replenished the following day. The hotel was near the sea front and castle, great for walking to the town and along the promenade. Parking spaces outside which was very convenient.

The first night was very noisy due to the loud music and singing coming from the pub underneath. Ear plugs bought to use for the second night, but the music ended earlier than the previous night.
