We had a wonderful stay! The accommodation was in a great location, clean, and well-maintained. The host was very helpful and friendly, and spoke English, which made communication easy. The room had everything we needed, including towels, basic toiletries, hot water, and drinking water. We were very satisfied with our stay and would definitely recommend this place to other travellers!

The ambience gives you the feeling of history
The fact that there are no dedicated non smoking rooms

Beautiful historical building in Pingyao. The courtyards are just as pretty in real life as in the pictures. The owners are lovely people who really tried to help guests. The location is great, quite convenient to walk through from the city walls.
Finding the entrance to the hotel upon arriving at night was challenging, we ended up asking for help at a restaurant. The rooms are really basic, though understandable for a historical building.
