Pensiunea Damiro

Unbeatable location, right next to the river; the balcony seems to float just above the water. We found the waterfront rooms spacious enough. The mattress is very comfortable and has the right firmness for a restful night’s sleep.

When you step into the corridor, the smell of air freshener or the wrong choice of floor cleaner can really spoil your first impression. The furnishings are a bit old-fashioned; however, they fulfil their purpose. Even the rooms have mosquito nets; be prepared for mosquitoes that may have arrived well ahead of you.

I liked everything. From the accommodation on the banks of the Danube, to the tasty food and the quiet location.

The location is nice, right on the Danube. They have working AC and the rooms were clean.

You can hear everything from the street even with every window closed: every car, every word people are talking. It's like the walls and windows don't even exist. The staff bugged me about paying, called my mobile while I was out, even though I asked when I arrived at location if i should pay right away. They sounded like they were afraid that I would run off without paying. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. We were in a group of 6 adults and 2 kids.
