The host Kay was very lovely and welcoming. She has a cute dog (Max). The accommodation was very affordable. The room was small but functional and had everything I needed. Tea and snack facilities were available at all times, including access to a shared fridge. The breakfast was made fresh by Kay, with a great selection available (porridge, full Irish, cornflakes, eggs, etc.). Parking is available on site. It's about a 15-20minute walk into the town center.
The bathroom light needed a few minutes to turn bright but that wasn't a big issue. Payment is upon arrival but by cash only; here is an ATM in the supermarket next door, if needed. The bed was a bit soft for me but I slept well.

Such a good location for a walk into the town centre or out along the sea front. So welcoming and comfortable. The proprietor couldn't do enough for me, even giving advice on where to catch a bit of live music in the town that evening. Breakfast was made to order and so delicious. I will certainly be back.

Good location, easy to walk to the city.
The double bed was VERY small for two people. The room was very hot, we couldn’t leave the window open due to the noise outside and it was the first floor. Shower very small.
