The location is super! Close to the bus station and easy to reach by car (for many other accomodations you have to hoist your luggage up the many stairs, which is really a big hassle). The view from the common balcony is stunning. Day and night. The Old street is also very close. Just a few minutes up the stairs. The common area has various convenient facilities like fridge, microwave, hot and cold water dispenser, coffee, tea, etc. It is very easy to feel at home. I read in other reviews that the check-in procedure can be a little awkward for foreigners, but I think they have improved on that a little. It is a self-check-in system. When you arrive you have to contact them. . Basically through Line (which I don't have), but I was able to communicate through the Booking.com app and by telephone. They open the door for you remotely and you find the key inside the room. There is also a doorbell with camera, but I don't know if the owner can hear/see this. But we managed and we had a great time.

For us the room lacks space for our two medium size suitcases (because we are travelling), but I suppose that most people come for a weekend or so and only bring a small backpack.

Great view of the bay. There's a shared balcony to enjoy the view. Free latte and tea. Private bathrooms. Rooms are very clean and the hotel rooms are recently renovated.

Self check in/check out. No actual person on site to help check in. There was someone at the entrance room to ask when I was checking out. You need to be prepared to pay with cash or else you get charged more if you pay thru their online pay site. The 2 ATMs are far hike up the mountain so it's much easier if you have cash ready. When I was there September 2026 there was construction on the next connected building so I could not sleep starting at 8:30 am. Check out is early at 10 am.
